Do you also feel the need to take care of your health, but don’t know where to start?Therapist
Let yourself find the source of your difficulties and begin the journey towards a good life. I will be with you at every step of this journey, supporting you in your path to better well-being. Therapist
I am a psychologist with a clinical specialisation and a certified wellness coach. In my practice, I combine psychology, wellness coaching, knowledge about nutrition, physiology and psychosomatics to most effectively support clients in their journey towards health and balance.
My ultimate goal is to equip the individual with the tools and techniques to take care of their well-being independently and effectively.
I invite you to explore together the topics that are important to you, look at your difficulties and make sure you develop the ability to choose the right tools for yourself to improve your life in a healthy and sustainable way.
I am interested in the impact of diet, stress, lifestyle and emotion management on disease prevention, longevity, brain function, immune system, and the development and reversal of symptoms. I pay a lot of attention to exploring one’s self, discovering the emotional needs, developing authenticity, and the mind-body connection.
In my work, I use the techniques from narrative therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). I approach each person individually, choosing methods and tools that will best assist in the change he or she wants to achieve.
During the meetings we explore topics such as:
- Health history;
- Current symptoms and difficulties;
- Main stressors;
- Emotions management and how they affect our physical health;
- Diet and its impact on the body’s functioning and mental wellbeing;
- The client’s daily living environment;
- Self-relationship;
- Learned patterns of perception, understanding and responding in different situations;
- The goal of health and well-being collaboration and steps to achieve it;
- Coping strategies to overcome difficulties on the way to achieving the goal.
In addition to those who want to improve health, self-awareness and overall well-being, I also invite those who struggle with anxiety after eating, emotional eating, problems with achieving and/or maintain a healthy weight, chronic diseases (cancer, auto-immune, metabolic and cardiovascular), digestive problems, constant fatigue, exhaustion, and women suffering from irregular and/or painful periods.
Some of the benefits from working together include:
reconnecting with yourself, gaining energy, improving sleep quality, boosting immunity, regaining authenticity and balance, feeling good in your body, building healthy eating habits and relationship with food, improving digestion and gut health, lowering cholesterol, taking care of heart and brain health, increasing stress resistance, reducing anxiety, and lowering the risk of future illnesses;
I developed my competence in working with patients during my internship at Bielański Hospital and the Department of Neurosis, Personality and Nutritional Disorders at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, as well as co-leading a support group for women after experiencing domestic abuse at the Elles pour Elles Anti-Violence Center.
I regularly attend supervisions and trainings, for example: “Dietary recommendations for improving cardiometabolic health in children and adults” or “Working with body image in sexual disorders”. I had the pleasure of leading a workshop for parents at the Polish School in Geel (Belgium) about effective anger management.
Sessions are held once a week, or every two weeks, as needed (online meeting format).
