Married and mother of two children, I have held the position of executive secretary for more than twenty years. Looking for a career change, I immediately became interested in psychology. I went back to studying this subject. Having completed a coaching course as part of my work, I realized that helping people regain self-confidence and guiding them to take on new challenges fit better with my perspective of providing personal support. I therefore decided to undertake more in-depth training leading to a recognized diploma. It was over the course of this journey that I discovered the International Coaching Federation, and it is on the basis of their teaching and ethics that my teacher structured his course. I completely embrace the practice of my profession based on this ethic. Having become a member, I regularly take continuing education courses in order to deepen my knowledge on the subject. I have not, however, abandoned the idea of continuing my training in psychology, but this belongs to a later chapter...
